Hydaiko 2004

Hydaiko is a network for taiko players who are interested in working on innovative ideas involving taiko. Our current on-going project is held at the Japanese American National Museum where we hold public workshops and Jam sessions.

TAIKO SHARING SESSION - September 25TH, 2004

Hydaiko and artists from the Southern California Taiko Community will be presenting a "Taiko Sharing Session" at 7pm at Senshin on September 25th of this year. The "Taiko Sharing Session" will be a small informal showcase of public domain taiko pieces in the form of original taiko compositions, traditional pieces and taiko drills. After the show, anyone who is interested in a particular piece or work can arrange a time to learn the work with the composer or performers.

The whole Southern California Taiko community will be invited to attend. Our goal with the "Taiko Sharing Session" is to not only to promote sharing of public domain work but also to promote interaction within our regional taiko community.
